Holiday Highlights

Here we are with January happening all around us, and I have not yet recovered from the absolutely wonderful Christmas we had!

Isaiah reluctantly took the part of the angel in the first annual Christmas Play at Pappaw and Mimi's on Christmas Eve. If you've ever seen an angel, you know that they don't look like the floofy, fluffy, airy wisps that we often see in knick knacks and on greeting cards. They also do not look like shepherds, but none of the other grandchildren would be a shepherd or an angel or any other Christmas figure. So, we had a lovely one-man show, unless you count Uncle Jeremy who played the part of "The Background Scenery Holder". Here's Caleb with a new toy...what a blessing to watch both of our boys have so much fun on Christmas morning. That in itself was an amazing gift!
Here we have the Lil' Buckaroo at Grandpa and Grandma's house with his new pony, Amigo. Buckaroo usually takes Amigo out for at least one short gallop around the ranch each day.

I think this next one must have been right after we woke up the Lil' Buckaroo so we could get the party started on Christmas morning. He's not a morning kind of guy...gee, wonder where he got that?

Oh, and a major milestone...not only has Caleb been riding around the ranch, he's walking now, too! Just a few steps at a time so far, but isn't that the best way to do things?
