Layin' Down Some Tracks...Then Picking Them Up Quick!

One of the tricky things about keeping our home ready for showings and open houses has been finding places for all of the toys. Our most beloved toys, Isaiah's Geotrax trains, were put in storage about six months ago. They take up a lot of floor space and just aren't that easy to put away quickly for last minute showings. Isaiah has really missed his Geotrax and has been quite anxious to get moved to our new house so we can get them back out again. Last week, guilt got the best of us and we moved the three plastic tubs of trains and tracks back home. The boys spent the entire day on Friday getting out each and every train car, track piece, remote control and miscellaneous Fisher Price plastic part in those tubs. We built the best layout ever. My job was recharging and replacing batteries so Isaiah could get those engines movin' on down the line.

I'm sure you've already guessed what happened next. That's right. Ring, ring! Telephone! It's the realtor's office! We have a showing tomorrow morning!

Geo Town is back in pieces. Back in the plastic tubs. Silently waiting to toot and whistle back into our lives...
