Great Things

I think I'll start a new weekly post about great things, a little list of fun or new or interesting things I've learned or discovered. Let's see where this goes or if I even remember it next week.

Although this example is a bit smallish, it took all of two minutes to make something fun out of last Sunday's Dispatch: the ever popular newspaper hat. Click here for instructions. Ahoy! Next, Penzey's Spices. Mom introduced me to this fun store and their wonderful cinnamon. You just never know what wonders are right in your own neighborhood!

And ooh! Another update for the house - kitchen cabinet hardware! Out with the old (round brass) and in with the new! I can hardly believe the difference this two-hour project made.

And one more...peanut butter cookies from Northstar Cafe. They are as big as my two hands held out flat together and the best part...a handful of whole peanuts sprinkled on top. Tasted like peanut brittle. Delish!
